Sacred Heart has been on the road for three straight, but on Saturday they'll finally head home. Allondra Leon was Sacred Heart's leading scorer, having posted two points.
Meanwhile, Sweet Springs was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 46-41 to Lafayette County. Sweet Springs has not had much luck with Lafayette County recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Sacred Heart's loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-7. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 15.7 points per game. As for Sweet Springs, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.
Sacred Heart was able to grind out a solid victory over Sweet Springs when the teams last played back in December of 2022, winning 39-30. Does Sacred Heart have another victory up their sleeve, or will Sweet Springs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
