The Wright City Wildcats waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins but they left with three. They came out on top against Louisiana by a score of 48-36. That's two games straight that Wright City has won by exactly 12 points.
When it comes to explaining why Louisiana lost, one person who can't be blamed is Ethen Harrison. Despite the final result, he almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine rebounds. That was a full 36.1% of Louisiana's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Quincy Mooney, who scored seven points.
Wright City's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-8. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.3 points per game. As for Louisiana, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-16.
