The Chesterfield Golden Rams put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed by Buford at home to the tune of 47-20. Chesterfield might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won six matchups by 26 points or more this season.
Chesterfield was led to victory by Trinity Turnage and Kierra Diggs. Turnage scored 14 points along with five rebounds and five steals, while Diggs scored 16 points along with six rebounds and five steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Diggs has scored at least 25% of Chesterfield's points. Terrahjah Robinson was another key contributor, scoring six points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Chesterfield pushed their record up to 7-0 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Buford, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.
Chesterfield will head out on the road to face off against Andrew Jackson at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Andrew Jackson focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 26 on Tuesday. Buford will be home for the holidays to greet Cheraw at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Cheraw has insisted on making their lastfive contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 2-3 during that stretch of close contests.
