Osborne is 8-2 against the Tigers since January of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Osborne Bulldogs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Natoma Tigers at 6:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Osborne's favor as the squad sits on 18 straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while the Tigers have been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road.
In what's become a running theme this season, Osborne gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They beat Miltonvale by the very same score they won with last week: 66-22.
Meanwhile, Natoma had to suffer through a rough 52-22 loss at the hands of the Panthers.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was MaKayla Murphy, who scored 14 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Caylie Lyle, who scored six points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Osborne's victory bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Natoma, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Osborne against the Tigers in their previous matchup back in February of 2023 as the team secured a 81-48 victory. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Natoma's Candyce Engling, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 12 rebounds. Now that she won't be playing on Friday, will it be that much easier for Osborne to walk away with another win? There's only one way to find out.
