Despite the loss, Lathrop saw an underclassman step up: Deshon Hall scored 22 points along with four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hall has scored all season. Luke Skinner was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with five rebounds.
Lathrop's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Palmer, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-6.
Lathrop will be playing in front of their home fans against Service at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Service presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Lathrop in Alaska (Service is ranked fourth, while Lathrop is ranked 31st). As for Palmer, Palmer and Wasilla will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 23rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
