The Hebron Christian Eagles lost against the Humphreys Academy Rebels back in August of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Hebron Christian took a serious blow against Humphreys Academy, falling 66-26. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Hebron Christian in their matchups with Humphreys Academy: they've now lost five in a row.
Several Eagles players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ashton Wilson, who threw for 85 yards and two touchdowns while completing 100% of his passes, and also picked up 41 receiving yards. Gavin Horn was in the mix as well, providing Hebron Christian with two touchdowns.
Hebron Christian's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 2-7. As for Humphreys Academy, their win ended a eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-8.
Hebron Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Humphreys Academy is also done with their season.
