Eastern was led to victory by Rashid Faruq and Isyah Joyner. Faruq scored 16 points, while Joyner scored 16 points. Joyner has been hot recently, having posted 16 or more points the last six times he's played. Derrick Gatling was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Woodson has not been sharp recently as the team's lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season. As for Eastern, the win got them back to even at 7-7.
