Duchesne put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They enjoyed a cozy 54-35 win over the Howell North Knights. For the Pioneers, this counts as revenge for the 49-32 victory the Knights walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

Duchesne's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Howell North, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Duchesne will head out to face off against Orchard Farm at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing isn't great for Orchard Farm: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while Duchesne has snatched up six consecutive wins on the road dating back to last season. As for Howell North, they will venture away from home to take on Parkway West at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Parkway West will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Howell North surely won't give up without a fight.
