While losing is never fun, First Coast Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 607th, while Old Plank Christian Academy is ranked 291st).
Among those leading the charge was Madison Baker, who scored 19 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Mia Wilkins, who scored eight points along with seven steals and five assists.
First Coast Christian has not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-11 record this season. As for Old Plank Christian Academy, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-2.
