Rye's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Codah Graber, who scored 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaiah Guzman, who scored 10 points along with 5 assists and 3 steals.
Meanwhile, La Junta strolled past Custer County with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 45-31.
La Junta's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Miles Marshall led the charge by scoring 12 points along with 5 rebounds. Monze Alvidres was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Rye has yet to lose a contest at home this season, leaving them with a 3-0 record. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 39.67 points. As for La Junta, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Keep an eye on the arc in Tuesday's game: Rye have made nailing deep shots look easy this year this season, having only averaged 5.3 threes per game.
