With a playoff win on the line, Jordan rose to the challenge on Friday. They put the hurt on the Roy Royals with a sharp 14-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Beetdiggers, who have now won 12 contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

CJ SUMNER was a standout: he got on base in all four of his plate appearances with four runs and one RBI. Those four runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of NOAH GATTI, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI and two runs.

Jordan was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .526. They are a perfect 10-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Jordan's win bumped their record up to 16-10. As for Roy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-15.

Jordan will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Royals: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
