The Law Lawmen will face off against the Hamden Green Dragons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Law is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.
On Thursday, Law beat Shelton 24-14.
Law relied on the efforts of Matthew Witteman, who rushed for 51 yards and one TD, and Dylan Gaillard, who gained 90 total yards.
Law didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Seamus Fedigan and Marcus Townes.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Hamden, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They blew past East Haven, posting a 32-0 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what the Green Dragons needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.
Hamden's win came from a few key players Law will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Josh Johnson, who rushed for 76 yards and a pair of scores. Antonius Newman Jr got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Hamden's win bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Law, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Friday's game: Law has been on an offensive roll this season, having averaged 398.3 total yards per game. It's a different story for Hamden, though, as they've been averaging only 234 total yards. Will Law be able to march up the field at their leisure again, or will the Green Dragons flip the script?
Law came up short against Hamden in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, falling 21-14. Will the Lawmen have more luck at home instead of on the road? Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other football content.
