The Community School of Davidson Spartans will be playing in front of their home fans against the Christ the King Crusaders at 6:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Community School of Davidson is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They claimed a resounding 67-30 victory over Bradford Prep. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Spartans had established a 22 point advantage.

Community School of Davidson found their leader in sophomore Aubrey Mccormick, who went 8 for 13 on her way to 20 points and six steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Mccormick has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Regan Downey, who posted 21 points in addition to five boards and three steals.
Meanwhile, you can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Christ the King's strategy against Bradford Prep on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Christ the King blew Bradford Prep out of the water with a 59-15 final score. The match marked the Crusaders' most dominant win of the season so far.
Christ the King's win came from a few key players Community School of Davidson will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Rosie Gorman, who had 16 points and five rebounds. She has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last eight times she's played. Another player making a difference was Audrey Gorman, who posted ten points in addition to seven rebounds and five assists.
The victory made it two in a row for Christ the King and bumps their season record up to 8-2. As for Community School of Davidson, their win bumped their record up to 8-5.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Community School of Davidson has crashing the boards this season, having averaged 33.5 boards per game.
