For the first time this season, Wahoo/Bishop Neumann will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will face off against the Pius X Thunderbolts at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Wahoo/Bishop Neumann was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Platteview on Monday. The Warriors put the hurt on the Trojans with a sharp 13-1 win. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
Cash Parson looked comfortable as he pitched 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

Lucas Newton made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Pius X's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-12. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.7 runs over those games. As for Wahoo/Bishop Neumann, the victory got them back to even at 11-11.
