Having just played yesterday, the Pike County Bulldogs will get right back to it and host the Daleville Warhawks at 7:30 p.m. on January 19th. Pike County will be strutting in after a win while Daleville will be coming in after a defeat.
Even though Pike County has not done well against Opp recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Pike County came out on top against Opp by a score of 54-44.
Meanwhile, Daleville pushed their score all the way to 55 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 68-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of New Brockton.
Pike County's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Daleville, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-10.
Pike County didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Daleville when the teams last played last Tuesday, but they still walked away with a 50-44 victory. Does Pike County have another victory up their sleeve, or will Daleville turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
