The Skyline Grizzlies put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 65-36 win over Idaho Falls at home. With Skyline ahead 39-19 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Shay Shippen continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 31 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Skyline's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kysa Shippen, who scored 16 points.
Skyline pushed their record up to 4-0 with that win, which was their third straight at home. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 24.33 points. As for Idaho Falls, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
Skyline will head out on the road to face off against Madison at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Idaho (Madison is ranked 46th, while Skyline is ranked 22nd). As for Idaho Falls, they will be playing at home against Blackfoot at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
