Serenity Taylor looked comfortable as she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Bryn Denny, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Maddie Wright, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4.
Jackson kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Washington only managed two hits.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Zane Trace, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. Everything went their way against Paint Valley on Wednesday as they made off with a 10-0 win. The Pioneers haven't had any issues with the Bearcats recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.
Brynn Wipert was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Those hits marked the first that she allowed this season. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.
In other batting news, Reagan Arthurs was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Haylynn Boggess-Pierce was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
The win made it two in a row for Jackson and bumps their season record up to 10-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 0 runs in those games. As for Zane Trace, their win bumped their record up to 5-6.
Zane Trace's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Jackson hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .396. It's a different story for Zane Trace, though, as they've only averaged .256. Will they be able to contain Jackson's hitters?
