Goldsboro were fully in charge last Thursday, breezing past Eastern Wayne 42-6.
Meanwhile, Southern Wayne found themselves the relunctant recipients of an unpleasant 12-34 punch to the gut against James Kenan last week.
Goldsboro's win lifted them to 2-0 while Southern Wayne's loss dropped them down to 0-2. We'll find out if Goldsboro can add another positive mark to their record or if Southern Wayne can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Goldsboro's step.
