The Orleans Bulldogs came tearing into Thursday's match with ten straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Loogootee and snuck past 35-32. Despite the win, that was the fewest points Orleans has scored all year.
Orleans' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ian Hall, who scored 11 points along with two steals. Rylan Crocker was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Orleans pushed their record up to 14-2 with that win, which was their eighth straight on the road. As for Loogootee, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-7.
Orleans will head out on the road to take on the Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Harrison knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three games -- so hopefully the Bulldogs like a good challenge. As for Loogootee, they will be playing at home against the Stars at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
