Basketball Recap: Rogers Piles Up the Points Against Woodward

Rogers won the last time they faced Woodward and things went their way on Friday too. The Rogers Rams simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Woodward Polar Bears 60-18. The Rams have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 27 points or more this season.

Rogers has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.1 points per game. As for Woodward, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rogers will venture away from home to face off against Chaminade Julienne Catholic at 2:45 p.m. on Monday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Chaminade Julienne Catholic has won three straight at home, while Rogers won four straight on the road), something that'll have to change. As for Woodward, they will take on Cardinal Stritch at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
