The Panther Valley Panthers posted their biggest victory since December 9, 2023 on Monday. They claimed a resounding 72-43 win over Pine Grove on the road. Winning may never get old, but Panther Valley sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Chase Weaver continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 18 points along with eight assists and seven rebounds. Stephen Hood was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with five rebounds and two blocks.
Panther Valley pushed their record up to 10-5 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.8 points per game. As for Pine Grove, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-14.
Coincidentally, Panther Valley and Pine Grove will both be playing North Schuylkill the next time they take the court. Pine Grove will host North Schuylkill at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Panther Valley will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
