Hedgesville has struggled against Martinsburg recently, as their contest on Thursday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Hedgesville got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of
Maggie Boyer and
Natalie Yates, who each put up seven points.
Gracie Brown held things down on the boards with 12 rebounds.
Hedgesville bumped their record down to 4-5 with that loss, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 22.0 points per game. As for Martinsburg, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-1.
