Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Durant). They came out on top against the Madill Wildcats by a score of 58-50 on Thursday. For the Lions, this counts as revenge for the 50-24 victory the Wildcats walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2022.

Jagger Rogers and Ryan Anderson certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Rogers posted 18 points and seven rebounds, while Anderson went 7 of 11 on his way to 15 points and five rebounds. Those seven boards gave Rogers a new career-high.

The win got Durant back to even at 2-2. As for Madill, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Durant wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 45-42 victory against Hugo on the 6th. As for Madill, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 56-53 loss against Sulphur on the 6th.
