After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Holy Cross, Clermont Northeastern was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They took their match with ease, bagging a 40-6 victory over the Lockland Panthers. The Rockets' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Brady Schmidt was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 50 yards and a pair of scores, and also threw for 144 yards and three TDs on perfect 10-for-10 passing. Clermont Northeastern's leading receiver Jaxon Vining was Schmidt's top target yet again, picking up 108 receiving yards and one touchdown.
