Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City relied on the efforts of Ruby Stuckemeyer, who scored ten points along with nine rebounds and two blocks, and Macee Rodman, who scored 19 points along with two steals. Rodman has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last six times she's played. Another player making a difference was Madison Dawson, who scored four points along with six rebounds.
Neoga's victory bumped their record up to 15-9. As for Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-10 record this season.
Neoga took their win against Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City in their previous meeting back in February of 2023 by a conclusive 60-36. The rematch might be a little tougher for Neoga since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
