Unionville had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the Plymouth Whitemarsh Colonials on Saturday as they made off with  a  3-0 win. The Longhorns are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 13 straight.
 Unionville's got stronger as the match went on, holding Plymouth Whitemarsh to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-22,  25-18.
 Stalena Van Deusen paced Unionville's offense, picking up 13 kills. Van Deusen got some help from  Holland Van Deusen and her 36 assists. Stalena also made an impact serving:  she shared the team lead in aces with  Taylor Platz, each putting up two.
 Plymouth Whitemarsh's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Chloe Esslinger, who  had 14  digs and four assists. Esslinger is  on a roll when it comes to  digs, as she's  now  had 14 or more in each of the last three games she's  played.
Unionville's victory bumped their record up to 18-0-2. As for Plymouth Whitemarsh, they moved to 20-5-1 with that  loss, which also ended their three-match winning streak.
 Coming up, Unionville will face off against Bishop Shanahan at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Plymouth Whitemarsh does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
