Hailey Hoffman and Charli Lewis made a big impact no matter where they played. Throwing, Hoffman tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Meanwhile, Lewis tossed three innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. Hoffman has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. At bat, Hoffman went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs, while Lewis went 1-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.
In other batting news, Eden Skinner was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and one stolen base. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2 runs per game. Emily Speer was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Hesperia Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .394. They are 10-1-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Rancho Mirage, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They never let Hamilton get on the board and left with a 2-0 win on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Rattlers have posted since March 11th.
