The Mountainburg Dragons will head out on the road to  square off against  the Life Way Christian Warriors at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Throwing,  Cowett   didn't allow a single  earned run and  only one  hit while striking out ten over four innings pitched. Meanwhile,  Pense   tossed  an inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits (he also only allowed one  walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in four consecutive pitching appearances. At bat,  Cowett  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-4, while  Pense  went 4-for-4 with a  home run, five  RBI,  and three  runs.
 In other batting news, Mountainburg got a  massive  performance out of  Levi Cowett, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances.  John Shepherd was another key contributor,  scoring a  run and  stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.
 Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Life Way Christian's offense. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost  9-0 to Greenland, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.
 Mountainburg's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Life Way Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.
 Mountainburg couldn't quite finish off Life Way Christian when the teams last played  back in April of 2023 and fell  6-4. Can Mountainburg avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
