In what's become a running theme this season, La Lumiere Blue gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They claimed a resounding 77-41 victory over Heritage Christian on the road. With La Lumiere Blue ahead 52-16 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Meanwhile, Lighthouse College Prep Academy came up short against the Admirals last Friday and fell 66-58. Lighthouse College Prep Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, Lighthouse College Prep Academy saw an underclassman step up: Derek Scott, Jr scored 25 points along with two steals. That was a full 43.1% of Lighthouse College Prep Academy's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. La Lumiere Blue's win bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Lighthouse College Prep Academy, they dropped their record down to 3-8 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight at home.
