The Decatur Golden Gators can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent game on Friday. They put the hurt on Rogers with a sharp 51-29 win. Decatur pushed the score to 35-11 by the end of the third, a deficit Rogers cut but never quite recovered from.
Decatur's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Avionna Caldwell led the charge by scoring eight points along with eight rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Jeralynn Sevaaetasi, who scored ten points.
The win made it two in a row for Decatur and bumps their season record up to 13-8. As for Rogers, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-11.
Decatur does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Rogers also has no future games currently scheduled.
