It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but South Adams had no problem doing just that on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the North Miami Warriors 25-22. The victory was nothing new for the Starfires as they're now sitting on seven straight.

Tytus Lehman threw for 322 yards and three TDs while picking up 12.4 yards per attempt. Derek McKean was his top target, picking up 120 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

North Miami's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lake Musall, who rushed for 142 yards and one touchdown while picking up 7.1 yards per carry. Hartley Hoover was another key player, rushing for 74 yards and one score.

South Adams' win bumped their record up to 10-3. As for North Miami, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-4.

Coming up, South Adams will challenge Pioneer at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Starfires will need to watch out since the Panthers have now posted at least 31 points in their last ten games. North Miami does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
