The Quartz Hill Royals's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their sixth straight loss. They took a 50-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of Knight. Quartz Hill lost against Knight in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 61-59 score last time.
Despite the defeat, Quartz Hill had strong showings from Ty'Jahwuan Jackson , who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds, and Jerimiah Williams , who scored 11 points along with nine rebounds.
Quartz Hill has been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-10 record this season. As for Knight, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Quartz Hill will be home for the holidays to greet Littlerock at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Littlerock is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. Knight will be home for the holidays to greet Eastside at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Eastside is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.
