A well-balanced attack led Gilead Christian over the in every quarter on their way to victory last Thursday. Gilead Christian took down the 33-18. The victory was just what Gilead Christian needed coming off of a 62-31 defeat in their prior match.
Meanwhile, Temple Christian came tearing into Friday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They enjoyed a cozy 51-37 victory over HEARTS for Jesus Christ. 51 seems to be a good number for Temple Christian as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.
Gilead Christian's win bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Temple Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.
Gilead Christian came up short against the Crusaders in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, falling 56-43. Can Gilead Christian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
