That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in April. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one run.
In other batting news, Gianna Saxon was incredible, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Caylee Wilkes was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.
Girard was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .458. They are 8-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
