Issac Day Tops All Others This Week
Starting off the list is West Tallahatchie's Issac Day, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Friday Day rushed for 251 yards and three touchdowns on only seven carries. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in October of 2023. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 95-yard run.
The victory was the third in a row for West Tallahatchie, bringing their record for this year to 7-1. Day and West Tallahatchie will face off against Simmons at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

South Delta was led to victory by Dekevion Miller, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Miller rushed for 62 yards and a touchdown on only five carries, and also threw for 100 yards and a touchdown while completing 71.4% of his passes. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in October of 2023.
Miller might have his next game, a road matchup with West Bolivar, circled on his calendar. Miller rushed for 80 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries, and also picked up 45 receiving yards the last time he and the Eagles duked it out back in October of 2023.

Another South Delta player making an appearance on this list is Marvin Powell. He rushed for 103 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries, and also picked up 37 receiving yards.
