Christ Church Episcopal entered their tilt with Union County on Thursday with three consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with four. Everything went their way against the Union County Yellowjackets as they made off with a 55-34 victory. Given the Cavaliers' advantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 34th, while the Yellowjackets are ranked 121st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Union County's loss came despite strong showings from Eric Gray and Cliff Gregory. Gray posted 20 points, while Gregory earned nine points. That was a full 58.8% of Union County's points, marking the third time in a row Gray has scored more than a third of the team's points.

Christ Church Episcopal's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-5. As for Union County, their loss dropped their record down to 15-13.

Looking ahead, Christ Church Episcopal will welcome St. Joseph's Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Christ Church Episcopal knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully St. Joseph's Catholic likes a good challenge. Union County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
