Broadneck has been on the road for three straight, but on Monday they'll finally head home. They will take on Crofton at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Broadneck will be strutting in after a victory while Crofton will be coming in after a loss.
Broadneck put the finishing touches on their eighth blowout victory of the season on Friday. Everything went their way against Southern as Broadneck made off with a 51-28 win. Winning is a bit easier when you work as a team to rack up eight more assists than your opponent, as Broadneck did.
Broadneck's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from London Best, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Mackenzie Wharton, who scored 13 points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, Crofton unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Friday. They fell to Severna Park 48-42. Crofton has struggled against Severna Park recently, as their match on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Broadneck's victory bumped their record up to 16-2. As for Crofton, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-7.
Broadneck couldn't quite finish off Crofton in their previous meeting back in January of 2023 and fell 37-34. Can Broadneck avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
