It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Marion Bulldogs can now relate to. They suffered a tough 35-14 loss at the hands of Jourdanton on Thursday. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Marion in their matchups with Jourdanton: they've now lost four in a row.
Despite the loss, Marion still got an impressive performance from Bo Stahl, who rushed for 50 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 177 yards and a touchdown.
Marion now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Jourdanton, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.
Marion does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Jourdanton will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Edna. Edna is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
