 In other batting news,  Nixon Harnish and  Beau Tarwater did most of the damage at the plate:  Harnish  scored two  runs while going 1-for-3, while  Tarwater  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Mason Porter, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base.
 Meanwhile, Verrado and Deer Valley finished up their  matchup with  a  4-4 draw on Thursday.
