Bristol Eastern took a 14-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bristol Central on Thursday. Bristol Eastern has struggled against Bristol Central recently, as their match on Thursday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Bristol Central's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Donovan Rodriguez, who rushed for 97 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 36 yards and a touchdown on only three passes.
Bristol Eastern's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Bristol Central, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-5.
