Leading Fort Calhoun to victory were Grayson Bouwman and Declyn Otte. Bouwman scored 13 points along with five assists and four steals, while Otte scored 15 points along with two steals. It was the first time this season that Otte scored 15 or more points. Adam Elofson was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Fort Calhoun has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season. As for Tekamah-Herman, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-15.
Fort Calhoun won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Raymond Central at 7:30 p.m. on February 9th. Raymond Central is coming into the contest with 12 straight losses on the road, meaning Fort Calhoun will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win. As for Tekamah-Herman, they will square off against West Point-Beemer at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
