The Lassiter Trojans entered their tilt with the Blessed Trinity Titans with two consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with three. Lassiter came out on top against Blessed Trinity by a score of  55-46  on Friday. Given Lassiter's advantage  in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings  (they are ranked 136th, while Blessed Trinity is ranked 276th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Lassiter found their leader in underclassman  Claire Mackenny, who  dropped  a double-double on 16 points and 11  rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kenzie Wyman, who  dropped  a double-double on 11 points and 11  rebounds.
 Lassiter is  on a roll lately: they've  won ten of their last 13 games,  which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. As for Blessed Trinity, they bumped their record down to 9-12 with that  loss, which was their third straight  at home.
 Lassiter will head out on the road to  take on  Pope at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Blessed Trinity, they will look to defend their home court  on Tuesday against Sprayberry at 6:00  p.m.
