Chipley had to skate by with only a three-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 29-point drubbing they dealt Central on Saturday. The Chipley Tigers took their match with ease, bagging a 61-32 win over the Central Jaguars. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 21 points or more this season.

Central's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Donovan Dean, who posted seven points and six rebounds. Jayden Joyner was another key player, putting up five points and six rebounds.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Chipley, bringing their record for this year to 7-4. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.3 points per game. As for Central, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.

Chipley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 67-19 win against Vernon on the 9th. As for Central, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 77-65 defeat against W.S. Neal on the 6th.
