The Allen Academy Rams scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They claimed a resounding 79-52 win over Veritas Classical Academy on the road. The victory was just what Allen Academy needed coming off of a 65-31 defeat in their prior game.
When it comes to explaining why Veritas Classical Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is Ty Merrill. Despite the final result, he scored 28 points. The game was Merrill's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Sage Rye, who scored 11 points.
Allen Academy's victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Veritas Classical Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-6.
