IV Section V recap November 13, 2013
Adding to the longest winning streak in IV Section V this week, Show Low beat Payson 39-6. The victory was the eighth in a row for the Cougars.
Blue Ridge took down Monument Valley 59-7 last week, the largest margin of any game. Spencer Hall threw for 204 yards and 4 touchdowns in the win.
Luke McDermott threw for 328 yards and 4 touchdowns.
Brice Rova was the most successful running back in the league this week. In 9 carries, he ran for 134 yards as Show Low lost to Coolidge. Dallin Crandell also contributed to the rushing game with 51 yards on the ground.
The leading receiver in the league this season is Brennan Schimmel. The Blue Ridge star has 40 catches for 862 yards.
Randy Ricedorff's team's Crandell is a mere 24 yards away from breaking the 1,000-rushing-yards mark for the season. Crandell has rushed for 976 yards on 141 carries so far this year.
The Yellow Jackets led the league in scoring this week after putting up 59 points on the Mustangs. Hall during the win.
