The Toronto Red Knights will be playing in front of their home fans against the Trinity Christian Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Toronto focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 24 on Thursday.
Last Thursday, Toronto came up short against the Beavers and fell 46-33. Toronto has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Ashton Thomas put forth a good effort for the losing side as she dropped a double-double on 15 points and 21 rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down nine or more in the last eight games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Tatum Derrington, who scored six points along with ten rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, Trinity Christian stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. Everything went their way against Conotton Valley as Trinity Christian made off with a 65-42 win. Winning may never get old, but Trinity Christian sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Toronto's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Trinity Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.
