Desmone Brooks-conley was his usual excellent self, scoring 21 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Nehemiah Ward, who scored 11 points.
Peoria's win bumped their record up to 6-15. As for Estrella Foothills, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-15.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Peoria on the road again on Tuesday and play against Cactus at 7:00 p.m. on January 23rd. Estrella Foothills won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Agua Fria at 7:00 p.m. on January 19th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Arizona (Agua Fria is ranked 253rd, while Estrella Foothills is ranked 263rd).
