Last Thursday, Sam Houston kept a clean sheet against Paschal. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Paschal.
Meanwhile, Bowie faced off against DeSoto for the first time this season, and Bowie walked away the winners. They came out on top against DeSoto by a score of 2-0 on Wednesday.
Sam Houston's win bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Bowie, the victory got them back to even at 3-3-2.
