Byron Nelson fans better hope the squad plays one heck of a game  on Friday as the odds are decidedly against them. They will head out on the road to  challenge  the Southlake Carroll Dragons at 6:30  p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
 On Tuesday, Byron Nelson kept a clean sheet against Keller Central. They were the clear victor by a  3-0 margin over the Chargers.
 Byron Nelson was led to victory by the tag-team duo of 
 Grace Berry and 
 Tano Uzezi-Itesa, who scored all three of Byron Nelson's goals.  The pair have combined for a total of 23 so far this season.
 Meanwhile, Southlake Carroll put another one in the bag  on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past V.R. Eaton 7-0.
 Byron Nelson's victory bumped their record up to 11-1-1. As for Southlake Carroll, they pushed their record up to 15-0 with that  win, which was their ninth straight  at home.
 Byron Nelson might still be hurting after the  6-2 defeat they got from Southlake Carroll  when the teams last played  back in March of 2023. The  contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Byron Nelson was down  5-1.
