While the Autaugaville Eagles couldn't quite beat the Marbury Bulldogs on Tuesday, the two-point margin was a huge improvement compared to the 28-point defeat they were dealt last Monday. Autaugaville fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 48-46. Autaugaville was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played last Thursday.
Marbury's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jacob Driver, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was DJ Graham, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Autaugaville's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Marbury, their victory bumped their record up to 6-12.
Autaugaville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Marbury also has no future games currently scheduled.
